코너스톤대학교(Cornerstone Global University, CGU)는 제칠일안식일예수재림교회의 신앙과 신학적 전통 위에 세워진 온라인 대학교입니다. CGU는 성경을 하나님의 변함없는 진리로 믿으며, 그 말씀을 통해 인간의 삶이 근본적으로 변화될 수 있다고 확신합니다.
우리는 인간의 지성과 영성을 동시에 계발하는 전인교육을 지향하며, 지식과 신앙, 그리고 봉사가 통합된 교육을 통해 세상 속에서 하나님 나라의 가치를 실현하고자 합니다.
CGU는 시간과 공간의 한계를 넘어 전 세계 누구나 학문과 신앙을 배우고 나눌 수 있는 장을 마련하여, 목회자뿐 아니라 평신도 지도자, 선교사, 그리고 다양한 분야의 그리스도인들이 글로벌 리더로 성장할 수 있도록 돕습니다.
우리 대학은 진리(Truth) 를 탐구하며, 믿음(Faith) 으로 세상을 바라보고, 봉사(Service) 로 이웃과 사회를 섬기는 교육을 통해, 사람을 변화시키고 세상을 변화시키는 사명을 감당합니다.
CGU는 Cornerstone(초석)이라는 이름처럼, 모든 교육과 연구의 기초를 성경적 진리 위에 두고, 학생 개개인이 하나님과 이웃을 사랑하며 세상을 섬길 수 있는 견고한 영적 초석이 되도록 인도합니다.
Founding Philosophy & Our Vision
Cornerstone Global University (CGU) is an online institution founded on the faith and theological tradition of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. CGU believes in the Bible as God’s unchanging truth and is confident that life can be fundamentally transformed through His Word.
We pursue holistic education that develops both intellect and spirituality, realizing the values of God’s kingdom through an education that integrates knowledge, faith, and service.
CGU seeks to overcome the limitations of time and space, providing a platform where anyone around the world can learn and share both scholarship and faith. We aim to help not only pastors, but also lay leaders, missionaries, and Christians in diverse fields to grow into global leaders.
Our university fulfills its mission—transforming people and transforming the world—through education that explores Truth, views the world with Faith, and serves neighbors and society through Service.

As our name “Cornerstone” signifies, CGU builds all teaching and research on the foundation of biblical truth, guiding each student to become a firm spiritual cornerstone who loves God and neighbors and serves the world.
