사랑하는 신입생 여러분,
Cornerstone Global University(CGU)에 오신 것을 진심으로 환영합니다.
CGU는 시대를 분별하며 하나님의 부르심에 응답하는 제자들을 세우기 위해 설립된 신앙 기반 고등 교육기관입니다. 이곳은 나이, 경력, 배경을 초월하여 하나님 나라를 위해 준비되기를 소망하는 모든 분들을 위한 열린 배움의 공동체입니다.
특별히 저희 CGU는 장년층 학습자, 사역 경험자, 인생의 전환점을 맞은 분들 모두를 진심으로 환영합니다. 나이는 배움의 제한이 될 수 없으며, 오히려 여러분의 삶의 경험은 이곳에서 더욱 깊은 통찰과 사명의 힘이 될 것입니다.
CGU는 현재 다음과 같은 세 개의 핵심 학과를 중심으로 교육을 제공합니다:
- 신학과: 말씀과 신학의 깊은 기초를 통해 교회와 세상을 섬길 사역자를 양성합니다.
- 디지털미디어선교학과: 유튜브, SNS, 온라인 콘텐츠를 활용하여 복음을 창의적이고 전략적으로 전하는 선교인을 훈련합니다.
- 건강전도학과: 건강을 매개로 복음을 전하는 통합적 사역을 준비하도록, 생활 의학과 웰빙 선교를 함께 교육합니다.
CGU는 단순한 학문 전달이 아닌, 소명에 응답하도록 돕는 실천 중심의 신학교육을 지향합니다. 우리의 교육은 ‘사람을 변화시키는 교육, 세상을 변화시키는 대학’이라는 사명을 중심에 두고 설계되어 있습니다.
총장으로서, 저는 여러분 한 분 한 분이 이곳에서 부르심을 확인하고, 실력을 갖추며, 믿음으로 세상을 섬길 준비를 갖추는 여정에 함께하게 된 것을 큰 영광으로 생각합니다. CGU의 교수진과 행정팀 모두가 기도하는 마음으로 여러분을 기다리고 있습니다.
이제, 여러분의 새로운 여정이 시작됩니다. CGU에서의 시간이 여러분의 삶을 바꾸고, 그 변화를 통해 세상이 변화되기를 소망합니다.

Welcome Statement
Dear New Students,
Welcome to Cornerstone Global University (CGU). It is my joy and privilege to greet you as you begin this new journey.
CGU is a faith-based institution of higher education established to raise disciples who discern the times and respond to God’s calling.
We are an open learning community for all who desire to be equipped for God’s kingdom—regardless of age, career, or background.
In particular, CGU warmly welcomes adult learners, those with ministry experience, and individuals at a turning point in life.
Age is never a limitation to learning. On the contrary, your life experiences will enrich your studies here, deepening your insight and strengthening your sense of mission.
At present, CGU offers education centered on three core academic programs:
- Theology: Forming ministers who will serve both church and society through a solid foundation in Scripture and theology.
- Digital Media Mission: Training missionaries to creatively and strategically proclaim the gospel through YouTube, social media, and online content.
- Health Evangelism: Preparing leaders for holistic ministry by integrating lifestyle medicine with wellness-centered mission.
CGU is committed not merely to the transfer of knowledge, but to practice-oriented theological education that empowers students to answer their calling.
Our mission is clear: education that transforms people, and a university that transforms the world.
As president, I count it a great honor to accompany each of you on this journey—to help you discover your calling, strengthen your gifts,
and prepare to serve the world in faith. The faculty and staff of CGU are praying for you and eagerly awaiting your arrival.
Your new chapter begins now. May your time at CGU transform your life, and through that transformation, bring change to the world.
